Upcoming HLAA 2025 Convention in Indianapolis

From June 11-14, 2025, the Hearing Loss Association of America is hosting their annual convention right here in Indianapolis. This event brings together advocates, professionals, and community members dedicated to supporting people with hearing loss.

The InRLA is excited to partner with HLAA and the Indiana Association of the Deaf to foster a welcoming community at this convention and to advocate for the importance of closed captioning in public spaces.

Join the Closed Captions ON Campaign

The INRLA is proud to partner with the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and the Indiana Association of the Deaf to promote accessibility and inclusivity across the state’s hospitality industry. As part of this partnership, InRLA encourages all restaurants, bars, and lodging establishments to support the Closed Captions ON Campaign by turning on closed captions on any TVs during business hours.

How Can Your Establishment Support the Campaign?

It’s simple to participate and show your commitment to accessibility:

  • Turn ON closed captions on all TVs in your restaurant, bar, or lobby during business hours.

  • Request your Closed Captions ON window cling to proudly display your support and signal to guests that your establishment values inclusivity and accessibility.

Display the decal in your window to highlight your participation in this important initiative.
