Dear Industry Leader,

As you know, this weekend marks Daylight Savings Time - it's that time of year where we often receive questions about the hours in which you can sell alcohol. Please see below for guidance from the Indiana Alcohol Tobacco Commission on this issue.

The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission announced that it will allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, November 4, 2018, to continue until 3:00 a.m.

Since Daylight Savings Time changes clocks to 1:00 a.m. at 2:00 a.m. on November 4, alcoholic beverage outlets will have one additional hour during which they may serve or sell alcoholic beverages on this date. Pursuant to Indiana law, they must cease sales at 3:00 a.m.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Sincerely,
Katie Beth Maddox
Director of Government Affairs
