Combat Human Trafficking in Your Establishment

With hundreds of thousands race fans flooding the city of Indianapolis this weekend, signs of human trafficking can go unnoticed. Sold out hotels and thousands of guests allow for this criminal activity to fly under the radar thus making hotels the ideal place to carry out crimes like this.

This year, we have partnered with the office of the Indiana Attorney General to combat human trafficking in our establishments and deter this activity from happening in the future. We have compiled two different documents, one for the front desk and one for the back of the house, that lay out how to read possible indicators that human trafficking may be going on right before your eyes.

We encourage you to print out these documents to educate and share with your employees. All it takes is one person to see something and say something to stop this horrible criminal activity from continuing. Should you need any other resources or have questions, please contact Elise Shrock.
