Looking to Hire? Department of Correction has it Covered and More!

The Indiana Department of Correction promotes public safety by providing effective opportunities for re-entry. The Culinary Arts Program teaches offenders the skills they need to be successful in the food service industry through courses taught by culinary chef instructors, apprenticeship programs through Education Contractors, Aramark Industries, and the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe program. James Bradford, Director of the Culinary Arts Vocational Re-Entry, works with program participants to find employment in the hospitality industry and coordinates with employers to find jobs for these qualified individuals. Employers who hire our graduates receive free bond coverage and a Work Opportunity Tax Credit. Please visit our Facebook page for more information or e-mail Director Bradford.
